North Dakota's Greenberg Roofing Joins with Other Industry Leaders To Form Nationwide Corporation
A 55 year old company with offices in Fargo, Minot, Jamestown and Grand Forks, North Dakota, has joined with nine other regional roofing companies from across the country to form Tecta America, a nationwide company. Greenberg Roofing's operations will continue to be locally operated, says its President Mark Jackson. "There will be no change at all as far as our Upper Midwest customers and our employees are concerned," he says. "Our goal is to maintain our local focus and relationships.

The company works with commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in North Dakota, northwest Minnesota and northern South Dakota. At its seasonal peak, Greenberg employs about 100 workers. Jackson, who is an owner of Tecta and serves on its President's Council, continues to manage Greenberg Roofing as a wholly owned subsidiary.
"As our corporation develops, we expect to introduce advantages to our customers that only a larger company can offer", Jackson says, "including highly competitive pricing, thanks to the economies of scale in purchasing materials, equipment, and various services."
Participation in Tecta, which is the Latin word for "roofs", offers two other advantages, according to Jackson: Sharing of resources of all of the companies including specialized equipment and personnel, and access to the best practices of each company from Preventive Roof Maintenance programs to Employee Training and Development.
"Another advantage of our affiliation with Tecta is the potential for more help after a disaster such as severe hail storms or tornadoes," Jackson adds. "We can call on almost unlimited equipment and personnel when any of our regional companies is dealing with an emergency situation that requires immediate response."
